If you don't know who Jeremy Rifkin is or what he does, you might want to brush up on Rifkin's bio here. His achievements and activities are pretty amazing, and his Rolodex (today, more likely a BlackBerry or an iPhone, of course) is filled with contact info for world leaders like President Nicolas Sarkozy of France and Chanceller Angela Merkel of Germany. He's written seventeen books, including "The End of Work" and "The Age of Access."
