Randi Hutter Epstein, M.D., is a medical journalist who has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Daily Telegraph, and several national magazines. She lives in New York City with her husband and four children.

Many of the titles we cover here on The WETA Book Studio are about or include pieces about things with which I have no experience whatsoever: reporting on the war in Iraq, driving a Jeep in Baja, sampling German cuisine in Liguria, creating a flow chart about happiness...I could go on and on.
However, I do know a thing or two about childbirth, having experienced it twice. So I was pretty sure I could hang with Randi Hutter Epstein.
