Funny you should ask, because I am hoping on a plane tomorrow. I am headed for Quito, Equador, then on to the Galapagos Islands for 15 days. As for the next trip, Scotland, then Australia/New Zealand. That would conclude our first round of travels to every continent. Then we start over by filling in countries we missed.

Country of Choice
If I could get on a plane tomorrow, I would head to Germany. Never mind the air restrictions thanks to the Icelandic volcano, my husband and I lived in Germany for three years and have been dying to go back to see old haunts, drink the beer, eat the food and check out all the places we missed because we were too poor to see everything we wanted to see. My son was born in Germany, and I would love to take him back to his birthplace, show him where he was born, where we lived, and some of our favorite foods. Essentially, we want to share our fond memories with him.
Portugal
My grandparents have traveled all over the world and Portugal remains their favorite destination, I'd love to go see it for both the beaches and the culture!
I would leave on a jet plane...
...to Africa. I have always loved Africa- ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to visit. I've always wanted to teach abroad before I have a family, and if I were to do that I would pick Africa. I feel like there is so much to learn there!
where to go?
New Zealand. Ever since The Lord of the Rings trilogy movies came out I have wanted to visit - the scenery in the film was breathtaking.
Country I would like to visit
I would love to travel and would be open to traveling anywhere. I do not think that there are any "bad" places to visit. However, for starters, I would choose South Africa. or Thailand. Maybe I would wait a bit until things settle down in Thailand, but it is a destination I've always wanted to visit.
Scotland!
It is my favorite place on earth!
Morocco
After reading Susan Orlean's article about donkeys in Morocco, I'd like to see for myself!
Country?
I am so torn between 2 countries. It would either be Greece or Italy. If push came to shove, I would choose Italy first.
Thanks
