The world is full of secrets.

Yes I have kept various secrets my friends have confided in me over the years. After all, those secrets are not mine to tell. They might have told me to lighten their burdens, to share their pain, to have a shoulder to lean on. Why would I gossip that to the next person? If it was meant to be told it wouldn't be a secret. If they didn't want me to keep it from the world they wouldn't let me know. If they wanted me to share it -- they would say.

Secrets of Eden

I just added this book to my TBR a couple of days ago!

And, yes. I have succesfully kept many secrets during my life. Because I am quiet and introspective, people seem to trust me easily, and I end up knowing secrets about many of my friends.

Keeping Secrets

Yes, I have kept secrets...hard to do, but I don't necessarily do it on a regular basis.

Secret-Keeper is my middle name

When I was about 10, my best friend told me a secret. After a couple of days, the secret found its way out to world and my friend blamed me for the pain it caused her. I was devastated by the lack of trust - but, yes, we were merely kids. Yet, from that day on I hate being told secretes. And when I'm told one, I keep it safe to the point of forgetting knowing anything.
